One of the leaked HP and the Deathly Hallows books was real, after all. I've had a copy of the PDF file for a few days now but have resisted reading the whole thing. But I have read the epilogue and the chapter summaries over at

I've been drooling over that set since May, but sadly it'll only be available in Sept. First saw it on Barnes & Noble, but Amazon US is cheaper :)

I was thinking "Albus Severus" revealed some yet unknown connection between the two...di pala. :p

One thing that bugs me is that long before the book was released Rowling gave the number of main characters that were supposed to die, but my head count doesn't match up with hers. I wonder if she's planning to do a sequel on the next generation.

That last quote from the article is the reason the Pappa wants to collect power tools. :p

I didn't know that she released the headcount beforehand. Maybe her classification of "main characters" is different from the fans'?

She's been known to change her mind about certain plot lines and maybe she makes mistakes din during live interviews :D for example we never learned what James' and Lily's jobs were.

She said two characters would die and now I'm trying to figure out which two she counted. :p

Not technically canon, but she stated on her official site that James and Lily didn't have to work because he'd inherited money.

Hmm, Hedwig and the Firebolt? :D

Maybe Voldie and Snape are the most major characters who died.

In an interview she said we would find out their jobs, but yeah she contradicts herself a lot. Nagbabago din siguro ang isip while she writes the books. You think any other books/series she will write can become as popular as HP? Masyado na yatang mataas ang expectations ng fans, so I don't know if that's going to happen.

Weasel patronus -- naubusan na sya ng imagination?

Kids under snape's direction -- they passed a law making it compulsory for kids to go to Hogwarts. They were rounding up schoolage kids not in Hogwarts & jailing their families.

bitchy Weasley -- well nagulat nga ako dun pero ngayon ko lang napag-isipan. hehe I mean kung ako man ang nasa lugar nya puro mura aabutin sa akin nung bella't na yun.

albus severus -- muntik na kong mag-choke dyan

I loved the book actually. Bitin nga lang & it did feel sad na tapos na pala.
Inggit naman ako sa complete set mo ha! Bongga.

About the Ministry ruling, if I were Arthur and Molly I would just hide Ginny and maybe go into hiding too. Maybe Arthur needs to work at the Ministry to keep a lookout for the Order but if he has to put Ginny's life in danger, he should be excused from that responsibility. The entire thing about Voldemort taking over the Ministry and the members of the Order just going along with it wasn't very well thought out.

Won't be getting the set until September, ang tagal pa :(

The Weasley's did hide Ginny after the first term... Read the entire book na kasi hehe
:-P

According to several chapters in the book (talagang inulit-ulit ni Rowling) Voldemort wasn't showing himself to avoid direct confrontation with the public. The idea being the masses will suspect but the uncertainty creates more fear. Then everything the Death Eaters do are made official by taking over the Ministry.

But I agree with you to an extent, I also didn't feel that the book was properly edited. There were a number of gaps & so many unfinished or undisclosed sub-plots.

Oh this post was written Saturday morning. I finished reading the ebook Sunday night :) why wait until Christmas to hide the kids? Snape's been there since the beginning of the school year. I agree, the book wasn't very well thought out. Nagmamadali na rin siguro sila.

Why the kids had to go to school pinayhekmi July 26 2007, 03:40:16 UTC
Hi there.

It was made mandatory that all children should attend Hogwards (pg. 210). As the Weasleys didn't want their whole family to fall under even more suspicion already, they sent the kids to school too.

Yeah I read that - see previous comment thread :) but it still doesn't make sense to me that they would put Ginny in danger just to deflect suspicion. Buti pa yung ibang parents, hindi sigurado kung sino pumatay kay Dumbledore. But the Weasleys know better.

Ah, never mind. It was just an observation.

Ah, ok. Didn't read through all the comments.

There's a lot of discussion about this book right now and its fun to guess and discuss!

Yup! I actually don't like the idea of a Potter encyclopedia. If all the questions are answered there will be nothing left for the fans to talk about! :P
