Hi Cess! I think I got the idea from a recipe for vegetarian lasagna. Try it, hindi talaga lasa yung spinach :) hope you get some babysitting help soon so that you can go out and relax, hehe.

I completely understand where you're coming from about dates with your husband.

That's why when hubby suggested we watch a film even if my stomach was grumbling, I said yes immediately. I want to book us for a proper date while his auntie is still here. Dahil alam kong aabutin na naman ng napakatagal before we can go out.

Oh yes, strike while the iron is hot, or when the aunt is in town in this case :)

I don't know why I'm so hesitant to get a babysitter... we searched for one last year but the ones we called weren't reliable, we actually found one we liked but she moved back to the UK recently.

Your kids wont be choosy with food when you yourself eats anything. They will be trained to eat veggies and even become vegetarians when you trained them when they are still young

Hi, sino po ito? Thanks for the comment, although I don't think it works that way in all cases, because my mom loves vegetables but I turned out to be a carnivore, hehe.

Sometimes what Marcus and I do to increase our veggie intake is to buy a random, interesting vegetables even though we don't have any plans yet of what to do with them and have no idea how to cook them. That surely compells us to find a recipe over the internet for how to prepare the thing... nabili na kasi. heheh. Sometimes, we find great recipes this way that we wouldn't have tried otherwise! Our latest experiment: kamote (sweet potato). We found a kamote salad recipe for it at ICA, and I must say it was a success this time. Sometimes, we also buy random interesting fruits :-)

That's a good idea, pilitin ang sarili na maghanap ng recipe :D I have yet to try the mango and other "weird" fruit here, hehe. We've eaten lots of kamote when Annika was younger because that's a good first food for babies, but my mom nearly passed out when she saw the price. Sa probinsiya pinamimigay lang daw ang kamote. Actually lahat naman, pinamimigay lang sa probinsiya e, including green mangoes and juicy orange ones, yum. Fake yung nandito na mangga, fake! :D
