Why do I think you're originally from LaFayette?

I don't know, but maybe because when we were at WPI my home address was Fayetteville, NY. Both are in the Syracuse area but one's a few miles east of the city and the other's a few miles south. Not much resemblance aside from the name.

But Fayetteville was the third place I lived, so I'm not "originally from" there either.

And I don't live in LaFayette (or Fayetteville, for that matter) now, though on the route I take to get there, it's the first substantial community I get to, unless you count Cardiff (of Giant fame), which isn't very substantial and is slightly off the route. About a fifteen minute drive from home.
