Ok, I see your fic posts and wonder every time, so I have to ask

How is 12/Clara "Whouffaldi"? What does that mean/where did you get that?

TIA (and really, no offense meant, it's just driving me crazy trying to figure it out)

Don't worry, I understand the confusion, there's no problem at all!

"Whouffaldi" is a name for the 12/Clara ship that has spread on Tumblr and other social networks and fansites, and has been recently used even by the official Doctor Who account on Twitter. "Whouffaldi" comes from "Whouffle", that was the ship name used for 11/Clara.

Basically, it combines "Who" from Doctor Who with "Souffle" that stands for Clara (because she used to refer to herself as Souffle girl). 12/Clara fans have modified the general Doctor/Clara ship name "Whouffle" to the more specific "Whouffaldi" adding the ending "-aldi" taken from "Capaldi".

Ah, I get it now, thanks! I can see where it comes from now that you've explained it (but I'm not on Tumblr, which is why I was unfamiliar with the terms).

It's funny that you've just answered this today, because I met Peter Capaldi at Awesome Con yesterday, and Jenna was there too! Their panel was so much fun, even though it was cut short due to being so far behind.
