Ther'es a gentleman at the local famers market that is a whovian who does statues - he said this winter he's trying to get a weeping angel mold to sell. PM me and i'll check with him in the spring time.

I have not been able to find any myself, so i told him he'd definitely have a sale from me.

I'm not sure if he ships but i told him that if he started selling them i'm SURE he'd sell out. LOL

He's in the Chicago suburbs if that helps.

Only if he ships. I'm not likely to be near Chicago any time soon as I'm overseas :)

Well, there's the Weeping Angel from Big Chief, but it is rather expensive and I don't know whether it is weather proof to leave in the garden.

But if you want to have a look:

Single Angel: http://www.bigchiefstudios.co.uk/store/doctor-who/sixth-scale-polystone-figurine/weeping-angel-single-pack

Or 2-pack: http://www.bigchiefstudios.co.uk/store/doctor-who/sixth-scale-polystone-figurine/weeping-angels-2-pack

Oh wow, thank you! They are a bit small but the ability to change their posture is great. Hm... need to confer with hubby if they are worth the price. :-)

You're welcome! Check out what else the site has to offer - these are actually action figures / collector's dolls, Big Chief also have done the Tenth, Eleventh, Fourth and First Doctor so far, as well as Amy, and also real great Sherlock and John figures and plan to do Moriarty and Mycroft next. The faces are spot on, and they come with their clothes and lots of accessories. If quality is that high, I am willing to pay the price. Maybe I can get you into collecting? *g*

I forgot to say that the angels are not available yet, you can order but we don't know yet when they will get delivered as they are still in the making, these things take time. So if you are in a hurry they might be not for you.

Edit: Greetings from Dresden btw. ;)

I saw that it's pre-order only, thanks! Well, I guess for a figurine about 27 cm high, 150 pounds may be a little too much. I was looking more at 50 cm or so but would be willing to pay the price.

I'm thinking if I put my mind to it I might be able to make one from clay. Not as photo-realistic as the one in the show or as the ones they sell there, but with enough semblance that they might give a Who fan a start when they see it :-)

Now I need a shop where I can burn a 50 cm figurine...
