I work in Newport, and am really looking forward to playing "hunt the TARDIS" on Friday with a workmate before I start work in the afternoon - if I find it, there'll be pics!

It was! Was based in Newport train station, and, although I've seen it before (I'm Cardiff born and bred, and have seen the old Who exhibition, but not yet the new one), it felt more "real" seeing it in real life in an everyday location. I found a tiny part of myself hoping the Timelord would step out of it and offer me a ride in the big blue box!

Then, tonight, I watched An Adventure in Time and Space to add to the "ooh" factor.

I've seen every clip and trailer, and I still have no idea what to expect. WHAT and HOW are John Hurt and Billie Piper?!

OMG on Jenna's clip from Day Break at 02:35 she's talking about ME!! I was getting ready to camp out overnight for panels and festivities on Saturday (culminating in the Nerdist podcast with Matt Smith, thus the Whovian cosplay), but my best friend and I had made reservations at Nobu because we're foodies, so we went and had a yummy dinner first. And then we happened to be seated a couple of tables over from the Game of Thrones cast and crew, and then Jenna arrived, too! (Incidentally I had been cosplaying as Talisa Maegyr all day up until about an hour beforehand, so I almost wasn't exactly sure which fandom I was more excited about... And the food was amazing so it was win-win all around)

I've only see Remembrance and Fenric of those seasons so far, but I really enjoyed them and I'm keen to see more. Seriously, it's so sad how they cancelled it just when it was getting good again. Imagine if we were celebrating 50 continuous years of DW! On the other hand, it's good that DW is The Show That Comes Back, because that means it will never really be gone for long. It'll outlive us all!
