So does anyone watch "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."? I was reading their TV Tropes page and it said that there was a TARDIS in the background of this past Tuesday's episode, so I pulled the ep up on my DVR, found the scene, and snapped a pic.

Someone in the broader Whedonverse has to be a fan--remember toward the end of "Buffy" when Andrew awkwardly told Spike he liked "Doctor Who"?

And vice versa, what with the James Marsters and Mark Sheppard and Anthony Stewart Head roles.

I think its just a natural fit; the whole team behind SHIELD is a team of nerds. There's been references throughout the entire show to Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek - I just think its them being themselves :P

Same way on Buffy, Xander had a set of Babylon 5 collectors plates :P
