Now this was one my early encounters with Doctor Who, as my parents had a target copy of The Brain of Morbius on their shelves. However, I remember assuming it was a rubbish spin-off novel and not thinking too much of it (I'd had a bad experience with the Star Wars expanded universe [the Jedi Prince series] around that time and had become a rather snobbish five year old).

My favourite is easily the Robots of Death, a work of pure genius.Talons has never captivated me in the same way as most Who fans, I think it is dull and padded. At least Invisible Enemy isn't quite as long.

I actually like "The Invisible Enemy" (I love K9...there's a reason I dressed my horse as him for Halloween). I didn't see "The Face of Evil" until it came out on VHS.
