The final Jeopardy clue tonight was from the category 'The World of TV' which as a TV buff I would have probably bet everything I had.

That really shows how far we've come in America. I remember when Doctor Who was very "fringe", something only the nerdiest nerds ever went out of their way to watch (if they'd even heard of it).

I laughed excitedly and yelled the answer. The fandom has come so far since I started watching 30-odd years ago

I also yelled the answer, and I love that Doctor Who got a mention on Jeopardy. However I wish the question had been a bit harder. It was so completely obvious.

That's what I keep thinking... Does it just seem that obvious from inside the fandom? I feel like the "eleven people who have played the title role" is something that most people know about Doctor Who, even if they've never seen a single episode and don't really know what it's about.

I was watching at my brothers house and he guessed Coronation Street and I just looked at him and said, nope, Doctor Who! :D So happy to see the show getting some love on US television.

I SAW THAT! I was actually playing a game on my iPad, but Jeopardy was on, and I kind of perked up when I heard that question, and yelled out the answer. Probably the first time I ever got the answer to a Final Jeopardy question, lol.
