The "urban" film image of POC is troubling when there is nothing else to see, so I am glad Noel is stretching out into everything. Personally I want to Fast Girls as much as this film, but this sounds like fun--Aliens on Earth in a storage Locker. Hope we in the USA get it on In Demand soon.

I did love that movie, and was chanting "Moses!" "Moses!" at the end. But I would like to those young actors get other kind of roles; romantic, dramatic, period peices...... .

Absolutely. I guess I just read his comments a little funny, like some of those films are somehow lesser.

No, that is not what he said at all--or at least I don't think that is what he means. But films like this --and Noel's own Kidulthood tend to promote a one sided image of POC living in Western society like the UK or the USA ( ... )
