Doctor Who related death that hasn't been drawn attention to

The famous hairdresser Vidal Sassoon died this week. None of the mainstream press obituaries mention (and nobody else in this community seem to have remembered) that he made a major contribution to early Doctor Who in designing Carole Ann Ford's at-the-time very alien and avant-garde haircut as Susan.
