Sarah Jane Smith. I went back to old Who after watching New Who, and realised that School Reunion would have been even better if it had been Donna there instead of Rose.

Also, you missed one of my favorites. Invasion of the Dinosaurs, set immediately after Time Warrior. The Third Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith are still a bit prickly, but settling into a working friendship. Plus, Dinosaurs.

I would have loved to have seen Donna and Sarah interact in some way - they didn't have a single scene together, except for the big ensemble scenes in Journey's End. They'd have been fantastic together.

Invasion of The Dinosaurs is great, as are several that I left out (I'm watching Planet of Evil right now and had forgotten how good it is!). I just narrowed it down to a few personal favorites, and hopefully ones that new viewers can connect to!

Invasion of the Dinosaurs is on my mind because it fairly recently came out on DVD. I've yet to get a 'just for me' copy, but it's definitely in my Netflix que.

What are your thoughts on the audio adventure from the 70s, The Pescatons?

It took me forever to listen to the entire thing because I would listen to it at night, and kept falling asleep! I haven't listened to it in awhile, but I enjoyed it - I like that period of the Doctor's and Sarah's relationship, and they had so few Earth-based stories together, so I liked that this one was set in modern London. The first person narrative was quite interesting, and the Pescatons were good monsters. I should listen to it again!
