Oh god. The HORROR! Seriously! Why do filmmakers continue to destroy our classics! I fear that some day in the future, I'll be teaching a class about Gulliver's Travels, and all they'll think of is THIS. They'll Probably think that "A Modest Proposal" is a serious piece! #_#

Catherine Tate and Amanda Peet are about the only redeeming factors in the film, but even that won't make me see it before the DVD release. And then only from the dollar video machine at the grocery store.

No doubt THIS would happily sank in time, don't you worry. But seeing Tate on a big screen should be fun, I think.

This! I've read the book and would love to see a proper adaptation, but this is just...wrong. However, Catherine Tate is a redeeming factor but not enough for me to want to see it...until it was on DVD at least.
