I always suspected that River Song and Amy Pond had related names for a reason, but as for who River Song is... I don't even want to guess. I am loving all the theories, though.

I have a tendency to give my female characters names that start with "J". Maybe Moffat likes watery names. Maybe it's not a clue. I hope it's not a clue.
