I got the new Doctor Who magazine special today, dedicated entirely to the awesome that is Sarah Jane and the Sarah Jane Adventures. There was much flailing when I picked it up at the shops this afternoon, and that was before I had even got past the front cover ( Read more... )

*sniffles* As someone who grew up on Sarah Jane & Harry Sullivan as companions, that just made me all verklempt. I really hope they do include it as a deleted scene on the s3 dvd set (assuming they actually shot the scene and didn't cut it for time prior to that). I do like that there is/was a picture of Harry in Sarah's attic too.

I remember seeing a photo of Harry as well as the Brigadier in the original pilot story, "Invasion of the Bane". :)

They probably have to keep the target audience in mind in the editing room. A Harry reference is nice for fans and older viewers, but SJA is for the kids.

True. I just hope they can put it on the DVD for those of us who are classic series fans and also watch SJA. I get all squealy when she even mentions the Doctor on SJA so something like this would be so sweet.
