The Stranger

May 18, 2009 00:11

I recently started getting a hankering to watch "The Stranger," a series of independently produced sci-fi stories featuring Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant in the early 90's. Problem is, I'm having trouble finding any information on how to find them. Does anyone have any ideas?

peri, colin baker, questions and requests

I downloaded my copies from various places. I've seen a couple of teh DVDs in Forbidden Planet and The Who Shop. You might be able to get them off ebay.

I have a store by my house near Chicago that sells primarily Doctor Who stuff and they sell a LOT of Stranger stuff.
Check their website at www.doctorwhostore.com to see if they offer them online.

You can sometimes find them on BitTorrent sites such as demonoid.com (but I didn't tell you that, right...)

I saw them all during their original release. They're kind of... weird. They get better, though. The ones with David Troughton in were quite good.

I chanced across some of it on YouTube the other day, but we can't tell you about that in an unlocked post.
