Maybe I'll wait and ask my local sci-fi shop if they are planning to stock it. Then I can see it first. Support the local economy and all that. Unless they're going to charge a lot more money (and state tax) than getting it elsewhere (depending on shipping costs).
I've not got this yet, been thinking about it for a while, here's a comment from someone on Amazon.co.uk:
The Journal of Impossible things is a quirkier example of a Doctor Who 'toy,' such that I'm not even sure it qualifies as one. Bound in a very nice faux-leather/hessien cover with strap, the journal comprises an impressive SEVENTY-EIGHT pages with writing and/or illustrations. A great deal of the writing is legible and the picture shots are all lifted straight from Human Nature/The Family of Blood. On top of that are a futher 21 blank pages and a mini sonic-screwdriver with LED and biro tips. Being a book, it's only so durable, and it's as educational as one might want to be with the 21 blank pages. As a nicer collector's piece I think it would mean more to bigger kids, especially when you consider it's also the perfect size to tuck in a UK passport.
Er. I realise this is something you're quoting and not your own comment, so my bogglement is not directed at you, but how on earth is A5 "the perfect size to tuck in a UK passport"?
Yeah, I was wondering that too. It's been a few years since I've used my passport, so unless they've gotten a hell of a lot bigger since then, I'm not quite sure how it could fit either :/

I was wondering how big UK passports were when I read this. I figured passports were pretty much the same size everywhere and mine will fit into my jeans back pocket.
