I realize nobody watches these, but I'm going to keep posting them and pretending people do. Watch me eat breakfast, go for a long walk in the rain, and get told off by a man in a suit:
I did not ONCE see you getting told off. FALSE ADVERTISER!! FAAALLLSSEEE ADDDDDVVEERRTTTIIIISSSERRRR!!!
But the donuts looked Yummeh and the coffee...should have been more coffee. And more gnarly stuffed binkie action.
I totally agree with you on Art. My parents were rather 'decide for yourself' kind of people - and I'd always found Art Galleries a bit of a horror. Kind of like putting Venus in a corporate environment - and the irony it implies. All the freedom of expression (whether one likes it or not) stuffed behind sterile walls and bleared at by bored tourists who are too tired to see beyond the canvas.
*Shivers*
And I'm blithering. Time for my coffee! And looks like I'll be having a closer look at the other two vids. BTW - thou art a cutie and most fantastic.
Also, also - basic black, bb. Though I did like the dress *is naughty*
At the end of the art gallery, you can just hear a guy asking me to switch off my camera. That's when I'm like "oh, sorry!" and internally I was like "yeah but what about all those other folks snapping everything in sight with their iphones, dude?" and also "i'm not using a flash, yo - what benefit is it to the gallery for me not to give you a little free promo on youtube ffs
( ... )
I watch them! OK, well, I didn't watch the first two because I was doing so much other stuff at the time. But normally I watch them! :) All the food you eat in these video blogs looks amazing. And when you said it's impossible to be unhappy, I definitely mentally finished that sentence "in a poncho." :P
It may sound doofy, but I literally spent the month leading up to my little 3-day trip researching where to eat in Toronto. Life's too short to settle for shitty food.
(And yeah, I was totally thinking of a poncho when I said that, of course!)
Heehee, whoops! I wish I could, like, email you these donuts. They're made to order and rolled in just enough cinnamon and sugar as to be sweet, but not cloying, which also makes the accompanying dulce de leche and chantilly cream a really good compliment to them.
SERIOUSLY, they're on the Ten Best Donuts In Toronto list for good reason. I would go so far as to say that we Canadians could learn something from the Cubans' apparent coffee and donut skills - who knew?
