Gosh, thank you so much! Admittedly, I've had a good amount of thinky-thoughts about the whole "gay couple + character(s) from times when gay couples weren't something that happened openly and/or crappy societal attitudes etc." and came to the following conclusion: if she's accepted that she's travelling through time and space in a police box with a man from another planet who's like 450 years old who rescued her from these giant shrieking pepper pots who scoot around terrorizing people and they've met countless other impossible creatures and countless alien humanoid societies, and MINISKIRTS, the two guys you're travelling with shacking up is kind of, ostensibly also normal. That's what I was thinking anyway.
