I'm greatly saddened to see all of the negative responses to him becoming Eleven.

Me too. I'm sure he's very good because otherwise he wouldn't have been a serious contender for the part. Looks/image can get you by for other roles, but not for something this major in which talent plays a huge factor.

I've seen him in a few things, but can't really make any solid judgements. Because he's still fairly new, he hasn't been given any major acting-heavy parts on TV yet. I did hear that he's very good onstage though.

Exactally, my main thought is the fandom hasn't let us down casting wise so far. (While I may not like a character, I DO like their actor.) This isn't the Disney Channel, and actors are NOT chosen based on their age, but on how well they can... act! :D

One of the movies he's in is at our library (so Mom says!) So I think I'll get it just so I can have something to go by. :)
