This looks actually exciting! Which, I mean, new Doctor Who is always exciting, but I thought the last two Christmas Specials were sort of boring.

Jenna is adorable. And she and Matt are trolling like mad.

And YES, Basil of Baker Street. MY CHILDHOOD. ♥

Moffat seems to be working his way through the elements with his Christmas specials. We've had fish-bearing stormclouds, acid rain and now evil snow. Poisonous frost, next?

Right? There better be some mice cameos in this thing somewhere.

Also lol at the Clara/Oswin thing. I guess she cleared that up...for now.

I saw these earlier and am excited for the special, despite my better judgement (The last DW Christmas Special I really truly liked was "The Runaway Bride"). If nothing else, I'm looking forward to the Vastra/Jenny and Strax show, plus Richard E. Grant (he looks so wonderfully eeeevil in the trailer), and of course all of the Oswin/Clara/Whoever she is goodness we can get.

Not to mention more Matt-ness. ;)

And carnivorous snowmen!!!! Moff working his way through all the ordinary objects in the world and making them terrifying. : )

I'm waiting for the Moff to make fluffy pillows and comfy blankets sinister too... by the time he's done, there will be nothing left that's safe to little kids!

I suspect it's wishful thinking, but I already am desperate for a "Great Detective" series, or at least a few tele-movies or novels or audios. Because I really really want to see more Vastra in action! (Of course, it's obvious that the Moff -- with help from Mark Gatiss given that he wrote the other Vastra/Jenny n' Strax story starring Diana Rigg -- is parodying himself a bit in terms of the whole extraordinary Victorian Detective With An "Average" sidekick thing. Which I think is brilliant.)

There is no ordinary object Moff can't make terrifying. : 0

Damn, that boy can wear clothes. That's an enormous furry-halo hooded parka worn indoors, over a stretched-neck t-shirt. Would anyone care to tell me how that is any less ridiculous than the Gallifreyan head-dress things that everyone knows are ridiculous? And why he doesn't look ridiculous?
