Awesome! Takes a lot of the sting out of a displeased reaction about "the Doctor not getting sexuality" thing I just saw. (In which the person mentioned Nine meeting Jack and that Moffat had forgotten all about that…) Because I took that exchange as 1) the Doctor does not have a human sexuality and 2) he thinks what Moffat explained above.
Anyone else hoping Jenna-Louise Coleman's character fancies River instead of Eleven if they go there in the latter of Series 7? I can't be the only one - can I?
I've been hoping that since the beginning! Or if there's no flirting/fancying, that her character has a girlfriend.
I will as soon as PBS finally shows it. However, she also kissed Laura Innes in a blooper for ER. It's just River has always TOLD us that she likes both, I want to be SHOWN.
Given they've also both claimed to be involved with non-humans and/or androids/cyborgs/whatever, I'd say both Jack and River are pansexual rather than simply bisexual (meaning anyone, anything, and who knows about alien biology).
That said, I'm so happy it's now official!
I think it'd be wonderful if our Woman Seven fancied River and I'm sure the Moff has already written that fanfic for himself.
I think Moff said at one point River was having an affair with both Anita and Proper Dave in the library episodes. And she said she dated a Nestene Duplicate at one point, so clearly she isn't fussy
