Anthropomorphic version would cling to the Doctor like a koala. Box version would probably flash and make annoyed noises before vvorping away and not returning until the Doctor shouts apologies into outer space.

I think it's sensible to expect the book as a Christmas present for myself. Poor old TARDIS, as if her life hasn't been bad enough recently.
