It seems to me the end to this episode reveales how Rory still secretly hates the Doctor like he did back in Vampires in Venice. He's just going through all this for Amy. He doesn't enjoy travelling in the TARDIS that much, is fed up of dying all the time and is not impressed with the way the Doctor is messing with Amy and their daughter and thus his life.
And from what Arthur said about he'll be back in the next series in a way. *Doesn't want to think anymore*

Oh I don't think that at all. :) On of the things I've been enjoying so much about this half of the season is I really feel like now that Rory has finally gotten past his jealously and anger and uncertainty we are really seeing who he is as a person for the first time. I don't think that would be happening if he still hated the Doctor ( ... )

All of this. I really believe Rory loves the Doctor and considers him a very special friend, perhaps almost as much as Amy does. It's really been showing this current series, too. If anything, I think Rory's anger during this episode comes from him being shocked that a close friend could such things.

Yes you totally convinced me! I was too emotional after the episode to make a judgement(and after Confidential going about how Rory's relationship with the Doctor will change forever). Now come to think of it, it is the fact that Rory trusted the Doctor thoroughly throughout the episode that made it the more painful. It is in a sense Rory's choice between his feelings and being sensible. A choice not unlike the one he made before A Good Man Goes to War, and one that the Doctor has made so many times these 700 years he no longer hesitates.
I really love how Rory's character develops yet he's not lost his human touch and love :)

Looks like the Doctor gave us one major hint this episode: "sometimes knowing your own future is what enables you to change it, especially if you're bloody minded, contradictory and completely unpredictable"

THIS. When Rory said, "So like Amy then" (or something like that)... I was thinking "LIKE YOU DOCTOR!"

I loved this episode, I thought it was beautiful and heartbreaking and gloriously acted on all fronts...but what I want to know is this...

How does this episode tie into where were are heading? Very rarely (even more so under the Moff) do you have episodes that are this emotionally charged that don't lead in the the bigger arc, but I cant quite figure out how. The idea of multiple's of characters seems to keep popping up, the idea of changing your on fate, the fact that the enduring love between Amy and Rory can literally rewrite time...all that's got to be important but it's all very nebulous...I want to know how this episode and the specific thing's that happen in it relate to the specific things that will happen at the end of the season.

In short: I WANT ALL THE EPISODES. NOW! Is it next week yet? :)

I don't think it's coincidence that in the last two episodes we've had:

-An older version of a character sacrifice themselves to save a younger version.

-A child with out-of-control powers saved from them by reconnecting with a parent.

Pretty sure both of these are hints as to what the resolution will be for the Doctor and River.

She did mention that she hadn't felt hungry all throughout the first week, so that was Kindness wonkiness, I think. Washing-wise, I'm sure the Interface could provide - she did put together a decent enough tent of various scavenged elements.
