Innnnnnnterresting. I think that's the first I've heard him say that. Dare I say I'm relieved? I think I'm a bit relieved. I like the idea of a neatly tied together Eleventh Doctor/Steven Moffat run.

I'm glad Moffat took that criticism on board, though I maintain that you can't just stick a gay character in for the sake of it. Canton worked because it showed how he was an outsider like the Doctor and the others and it also fed into the plot (being kicked out of the FBI). And still one commenter has to complain that Canton's sexuality was only revealed right at the end (he was still gay before then) and that the gay married soldiers died. What about Jenny and Madame Vastra? Or do they not count because they're women? ¬.¬

I love how Matt says that the Financial Times critic should be asked why he feels more uncomfortable about the gay sex than straight sex, not him. Bravo, Matt. Quite frustrated with the same commenter, who complained about Matt complaining of razor burn!
