Huh, weird. Does this mean it won't be on the season dvd like the other years?

I don't know. I am assuming they'll prolly do both just because it makes them more money. I am buying the vanilla copy now just so I can watch it between February and next November which is when I'm guessing S6-A will be out. I am more concerned about whether we're going to get 2 S6 box sets (S6 and 6.5) like SyFy has managed to do for certain series (like Battlestar Galactica) and then, of course, then see there's an all inclusive S6 box set with MORE STUFF .
