Too much stuff to recommend! I'll be back with more; this is just what I've cobbled together so far:

Into the Arms of an Imaginary Friend, by tardis_coral, the best and possibly most insane River origins story I've read.

Infinity, by bendingwind, five times River asks the Doctor his true name, and one time he tells her, fabulous details.

Time is a River, by infiniteviking, River's encounters with Doctors 1-10, an "older" fic, by which I mean written pre-ficathon

A Really Good Bad Idea, by bendingwind, console!sex was a bad idea

All Lies, by honeynoir, short and perfect

Keeping a Diary, part one, part two, by honeynoir, does what it says on the tin

A Tiny Spark of White, part one, part two, unfinished, by tardis_coral, baby fic. Yes, I know what you're thinking. Tell your brain to keep its opinions to itself and just go read.

Holding up the Heavens, and The Fortunate Isle, by tellitslant, first two of a series of fics exploring how River might have come by the golden apple we see on her shelf in prison.

I have to second the 'Into the Arms of an Imaginary Friend' rec. That is such a wonderful look at River and her relationships. I haven't read the others but I'm definitely going to now.
