But I'm like, why would she wear brown boots with black stockings? Or for that matter, black boots with a brown jacket? Gaaah.

Also, did you read that article where they discussed Karen's costumes? It said the leather jacket was a vintage 70s piece. We have no hope. :(

What a nice post to wake up to! Thanks for all the lovely pictures. =D
The architecture looks really nice, especially the building from the balcony scene. And of course all the cast does as well, though I think I like the pics of them in casual wear at end the best, the hats, the hoodie, the sunglasses, all so pretty!

With Tony Curran being there, did they film part of the Van Gogh episode in Croatia too? I kind of missed closer reporting on the whole thing. Only thing I heard was a general "Oh they went to Crotia to film some Doctor Who".

My husband came in last night while I was working on this post and wanted to see all the architecture (we like things like that). I told him it was Croatia doubling for Venice, and then pointed out where it was on Google Maps (I had that open too!). He liked it a lot.

Yeah, they filmed part of ep 10 in Croatia as well, though more out in the country, I think. Eps 6 and 10 were in the same block so it worked out. I had been wondering if both Arthur and Tony stayed the full week like I said above, so I guess that answers that question. :D

My sister went on a class trip to Venice last year. I'm still jealous. When I went to the same school all we did was go on a hiking trip. *sigh* Not that hiking can't be nice but in middle school with a bunch of grumpy teachers and whiny classmates, not really. As per these buildings, do you happen to know what part of Croatia they filmed this in? Cause I'd love to go there someday. Almost got to go to Croatia a few years back but then the trip got cancelled last minute. :(
