My friend Sheyna shared a story about Faisal, a mutual friend of ours from our past days at Berkeley.

Faisal once told me about a man he met on a bus, who had been married to his wife for close to 60 years. Faisal asked what the secret was to waking up, happily, next to the same person every day of one's life, and the man replied:

You grow, you change, and you try to let the other person do the same. You just try to walk that path together, with patience and mutual understanding.
