Rest in Peace Mr. Wizard

One of my childhood heroes has passed into the great laboratory in the sky.

Mr. Wizard, I'm sorry I never wrote to tell you how much you meant to me.

science, death

I saw that this morning as well. I remember being disappointed that my first chemistry teacher in middle school wasn't nearly as cool as Mr. Wizard.

A toast... TO SCIENCE!

Yeah he used to come on about 1/2 hour before the bus would arrive and I used to watch him everyday.

so sad.

last night on "coast-to-coast with george norrie" (a crazed late night am talk show), he had a series of past interviews with Mr Wizard. Wow, that was a real trip.

I heard about this too today. What I didn't know was that he was really big in the 50s. I just knew him from Mr. Wizard's World on Nickelodeon.

Damn... He really is the reason I got into science to begin with, I remember always sitting and watching his show when I was little.
