So... all we can use are color layers? Can I draw on the cap with my round paintbrush tool? Is that considered brush usage?

Lovely choice of images by the way, I can see you spent hours combing the archives for the clearest and most dazzling caps to make it easier on all of us. ♥

i did! turn left has lots of pretty, interesting caps. if only it was earlier in the series. :P

there are still adjustment layers, gradients, patterns... i'm pretty sure you can manipulate gradients and/or patterns to do most of what you're trying to do with a round brush. ;)
