I don't trust him at all, but if this hasn't confused me more than anything else... I don't even know what I want from all of this or the character that Billie Piper is playing. I just need to see it already so I can start fixing it to fall in line with my headcanon.
Rose and Tentoo are together (whether married or not) in my head anyway, so the ring doesn't give me any new headcanon. I can only imagine ways it could go wrong.
I hope we actually get an explanation in the episode.
Oh, I mean they're absolutely married and happy in my headcanon, that's nothing new. Just as to how this all fits together with the events of the 50th remains to be seen.
I spotted (and mentioned) that on one of the Telegraph Magazine pictures a few days ago, and it amazed me that nobody responded. I guess the recent BBC poll has made Rose a bit more high profile.
My guess, FWIW, is that she's married to TenToo. I don't think Moff has an issue with happy endings as long as he doesn't have to write ones involving other people's characters.
Oh man! :/ This makes me excited and terrified at the same time. If it weren't Moffat I would be happy to see Rose encountering Eleven, but since it is him...eek! O_o
And while I imagined she was married to Cloen, I was hoping Billie would not be playing present!Rose, since DNW Moffat messing with that canon and out imagination!
lol this is it precisely. I have no objection at all to Rose being married to Cloen! I like the notion a lot! But I am wary of Moffat writing present-day Rose, and wary of the notion of present-day Rose showing up in rags in a ring without Cloen.
!! Oh, wow. All the mentions of "Bad Wolf" had me thinking Rose was coming from an earlier point in the timeline, but this certainly puts a new twist on things.
Hm, I remain cautiously optimistic and determined to enjoy the movie, although it's hard not to build up expectations too high.
Yeah, I'm normally really good at that... It's just that when you have a canon happy ending you want it to stick around, you know? Hopefully Moffat doesn't ruin it - I'd even be okay with an alternate timeline or something like that.

Maybe it's ~imaginary Rose~ in the Doctor's head after all (much like the Dream Lord in Amy's Choice)... and the Doctor imagines Rose is married?

This just made me imagine some terrifying things, like Rose mourning Cloen or something.
