New Earth was probably Ten's favourite adventure. Rose wandered around with a low-cut top, he kissed Rose (kinda), mostly everyone lived, a new species came to life, he reformed the bad guy and he saved the day with hugging.

Every other return trip to New York just gets worse. Eleven might want to reconsider taking his in-laws there.

It's just the idea of the Doctor being with 'another girl' gets Amy so curious. It's why I love reading/writing fics where Rose and Amy meet--because I think they'd get on fairly well (although I think Rose and Rory would be best friends forever) and I think SOMEONE else should remember Rose and how much the Doctor loved her, since he is apparently unable to admit it.

Rory and Rose are both in love with larger than life personalities. When they're with their partner they defer to said person, but on their own they realize that they can be leaders. They're both caring, compassionate people in love with brilliant, damaged individuals. They are each one half of a pair that is legendary
