Interesting that he responded to the 'hot' question in that way. I guess always kinda thought the Doctor doesn't see women like that. IDK if that makes sense. I haven't seen this scene at all yet.

The whole scene is mostly him trying to convince Amy he doesn't see women like that, though IMO it's all played with the undertone that, well, he totally does a little. It's all very meta, lol.

It felt very fanfic to me, which I don't mean as a bad thing. But "Amy and the Doctor talk meta on the TARDIS and she pokes fun at him over previous companions" sounds very much like a premise of a fic to me.

There aren't many moments in s5 that made me think of Rose but this was definitely one of them.
