Lorne kissed him back lovingly. IT's fine. The box'll be great don't worry. He replied opening it up. Lorne leafed through the Kavangh's old photos smiling as he pulls out the old SGC Basketball team one. Looking over it he grinned up at him.
"No, that was not all you did. You stood around, looking all pretty and pouted at me. When that didn't work you maxed up the charm, smiling that damn irresistible smile of yours. I hadn't been laid in a very long time." He pouted.
They were both caught up in the moment. Lorne shoved him into the nearest storage closet, groping him, trying to work off the frustrated energy of a mission gone wrong. He responded in type. Kissing, touching, grinding.
Voices just outside the door caused them both to freeze. Neither of them dared moved for long moments after the voices had faded. "My room's just around the corner." Kavanagh finally stuttered out.
Amazingly they made it there without being seen, despite the fact that the Major repeatedly grabbed his hand like a love-struck teenager, even though he kept batting him away. He was so nervous that he'd forgotten he hadn't put away the stuff he was working on before, until they walked in.
Lorne walked in pulling him towrds the bed before stopping his eyes widenening as he saw photo after photo of him on the wall, in the mess hall, at training, in the games room. Photos were hangnig from washing lines all of him.
"Oh God! Nick, this isn't what it - " He started but dried up at realising that nothing he could say would sound remotely plausible. He'd blown it. Ruined the first good thing that had happened to him in years. It wasn't even meant to be weird or sordid, he just liked looking at him.
"I'm sorry," he said quietly moving back towards the door.
Lorne grinned at him. That could've been more fun He murmured kissing him hungrily.
The Lornes had a bustling table hot steaming plates of food and a very loud Christmas gathering. Nick was spending his time flashing smiles and chatting to the neighbours daughters. Before Kavangah glared at him and walked out. Lorne watched him and excused himself running after the Chemist into the pouring rain. The sky ominous and thundering wiht all its might as he pulled on his arm. The Chemist turned looking down. Nick lifted his head a little looking into his eyesbefore the sky was illuminated with a flash of light, their lips crashing together with the clap of the thunderstorm. The rain crashing down and soaking them to the skin as they kissed with unbridled love and passion.
"Jerk!" Kavanagh shouted above the roar of the storm. "Why the hell did you force me to come if you were planning on sleeping with Lil Miss Perfect in there?"
Lorne didn't reply, just pulling him in for another hot kiss. "For somebody so smart, you're really stupid." He commented as they pulled apart. "Think we can go back inside before we get struck by lighting or something?"
"Hmmm soon" Kavanagh said kissing him again. Then he grabbed his arm, turning him back towards the house. They both froze shell shocked, as Nick's mother stood in the doorway watching them. Her expression unreadable.
"Maybe I should leave." Kavanagh mumbled, turning towards the car.
Nick grabbed his hand. No. He whispered slowly walking over to his mother bringing Kavanagh with him.
She looked at them. Nicholas go upstairs and get changed you'll catch your death. She replied. Nick squeezed his hand and released it heading into the house.
He stood at the entrance, forcing his head up, but not quite able to meet her eyes.
"Sorry to disturb your meal ma'am." She continued to stare at him in silence, as if she was judging him and had found him unworthy. "Your son is pretty wonderful. You obviously did a good job."
