[Well, there's that girl that was hallucinating during the event currently being dog-piled by her, um, dogs if that's interesting. Though one of them is made out of electricity.] Get off guys, you're heavy!
It's alright! ;u;evers_hackerJuly 5 2011, 09:14:40 UTC
[She blinks over at him, still trying to get the dogs off her, before she smiles slightly.] Yep, I'm feeling much better now that I'm not hallucinating- Erk! [Both dogs felt that moment was the best to flop heavily onto their owner, though the electric dog notices the stare and stares right back at Nusakan.]
[Chuckling deeply, the doctor leans forward, slender fingers closing over the opposing hand as it rests on his knee.] They seem pleased with that fact. [He gives the electric dog an odd smile; his words probably aren't stated any differently, but perhaps he normally has a way with animals - or maybe he's simply a little... off. Regardless, his voice is suddenly somehow soothing.] However, I think your owner would like to get up, little ones.

[ Madoka's job in Mayfield is actually pretty unimportant. It's a voulunteer job. She exists to be ordered around by hospital staff. But gosh darnit, she tries her best to be of use. Which is why she was rushing down a hall to restock some storage closets and brushed past Doctor Nusakan.
Like a good girl, she stops to bow and apologize. ]
S-sorry, I wasn't looking where I was--- [ Oh, what a nice lab coat. Madoka stares a bit. ] ---hm? That looks different from the others...
SOB I'M SORRY THIS IS SO LATE, feel free to drop the thread if you don't want to backtag!doctor_creepJuly 5 2011, 00:09:41 UTC
[His lip twitches at the immediate, polite reaction, middle finger touching the bridge of his glasses to push them up, and after the flash of white, his red eyes watch Madoka.]
Indeed, it is different. This is what I wore in my office in Koorong, after all; it's much more fashionable than the... norm. [He makes a sweeping gesture with that same, overly pale hand.] I don't believe we've met yet. I am Doctor Nusakan.

Ah, it's so nice to see someone so young with such sensible taste. I should hope it's suitable, it is handmade.
[There's a pause, then, as he considers.] Hmm... do you know how to set IVs? [... No, it doesn't matter that she's young, jeez.] I do have a patient to tend to and the nurses are fairly busy today. If you've not that knowledge, then you can bring me instruments.
[Oh! It's that man he spoke to going into the event. Well. He did say they should follow-up some time. Now is as good a time as any.]
It was quite an embarrassment, I agree. We talked earlier, I believe? You'll be displeased -- or perhaps pleased, I suppose, since the results are interesting either way -- to hear that my plan to turn the experiment around on the town was a complete failure.
Ah, that is often the case, isn't it? This town is crafty, much in the way a possessed ruin is such. [When he speaks again, there's more than a small hint of irritation.] If you lack the skills - and the town did quite a job of removing those, didn't they? - then surviving long enough to do, well, anything is troublesome. I myself lost an arm before I regained the necessary... alterations to properly survive just to observe.

[Every now and again, Hol Horse himself takes a long walk, just to ease whatever was on his mind. However, today he's going to wish he hadn't... as he had taken notice of a familiar figure sitting on a bench. Hol thought back to their wonderful little meeting back at that island. He grit his teeth in annoyance and frowned as the thought of simply shooting Nusakan in the kneecap crossed his mind.]
[Surprise surprise. The doctor doesn't seem to so much as notice Hol on his walk, fingers laced together. One would think, if they didn't know the man, that perhaps he was simply enjoying the day... but Hol knows, by now, that Nusakan is much more interested in human interaction than nature interaction.
Of course, Hol can also recall how well shooting him worked the last time he did it.]
[As long as the good doctor didn't notice him, Hol would in fact take this as a moment to summon Emperor in his hand. His finger twitched as his hand remained in a steady grip. It would be simple enough. He was sure that a damaged knee might prove to be more of a handicap rather than an injured shoulder.
No one important was paying attention. Hol turned away from Nusakan and fired. He then glanced over to the other and focused his attention to the fellow's knee. After all... Emperor travelled the path of Hol's line of sight.]
[Turned away, Hol might miss it when Nusakan did turn his attention to Hol. The man really did have the most interesting actions and reactions... and the doctor knew, of course, that he also had some sort of invisible weapon he was no doubt itching to use again.
Granted, an injury to his knee would be about as useful in stopping him than the injury to his shoulder.. but Hol didn't know that. And Nusakan, for his part, noted the sudden focus on said knee... and proceeded to cross his legs, resituating his hands across them and staring from over the top of his glasses, a wide grin across his lips.]
[Ah, the park? Then it's inevitable that they would meet again, and N is happy to see the doctor there. He hobbles over to sit beside him on the bench, leaning his crutches on the leg he's holding stretched out towards the ground, rather than having it bent properly. Purrloin seems to be a bit more wary, not even jumping up to follow, but it doesn't seem to bother N.]
[The sound of Purrloin's feet padding along catch Nusakan's attention more than the sound of N on his crutches, actually... though he turns to the young man shortly.]
Mm. One of your monster friends? [His eyes do turn toward the creature for a moment, then along the outstretched leg.] And you seem to be recovering rather well, considering. [His legs cross, idly, as he sits.]
Purrloin, yes. I met him long ago, and we only recently reconnected. Here, of all places.
[He gestures then to his bandaged arm, as that's the nonclothed part of him that's wrapped up.]
I've been trying to take really good care of them. I clean the stitches and change the bandages every day.
[With the reassurances, Purrloin has crept closer, eventually coming to duck his head and roll over on his back in front of Nusakan, stretching out his paws. Adorable. Pet him. Do it.]
Not a place we would wish our friends, though the company is helpful, I'm sure. [He nods as N mentions his healing regimen. Very good to hear. Caring for yourself like that, you should recover fully in no time.
[His brow arches when Purrloin rolls over and stretches, lip quirking. Such an odd creature... and, while he has some sense of catlike behavior, he either thinks nothing of it or doesn't mind, leaning forward to pet the animal. It makes both his tie clip and glasses glint in the light - though what doesn't cause the latter to glint is a small list indeed.]
