Today was good and bad. Allow me to address the good, first.

I got an A on my Creative Writing exam (which I know just cuz we only had a total of six people in class, so Mr. DeChant graded our exams super fast and told us our grades). The thing is, we all finished ( Read more... )

Thanks. *hugs back* :]

Ooh, that's cooly! I'm going to the show next year, but we really can't afford to travel to NYC just to watch a TCR taping. *sadness* Aww, he's so adorable. *loves*

I *desperately* wanna live in NYC. But, alas, I can not. My parents would never live there. XD

I'm totally sympathetic on the Colbert front. But get this:

It was two years ago. Kurt Vonnegut. O.S.FREAKIN'.U.. Not just a year of my life--two and a half years of my life. Entry was free. I hang on every word this man says. His autobiography is like my Bible in some sense of the word. "Sorry, kid, students first."

It was his last lecture. He died the next year.

And honestly, I don't see how living in Connecticut would be any different than living in Ohio. Tickets would still be the same price, Ohio actually has some of the cheaper gas... Besides, Stephen Colbert is young and supple. And there's nothing stopping him from coming to Ohio (or wherever you are) in the future. For one, Columbus, Cincinatti, and Cleveland are pretty big places. People usually make stops in at least one of them.

I got to meet Johnny Weir last year. Anything is possible.

Thanks, lol.

ZOMG...I...aww, Jen, that's terrible. That's beyond terrible. I'm sorry! GAH, how suckish! *hugs*

My mom just meant we'd be closer to NYC and she wouldn't be so reluctant to take me. From where we lived in Connecticut, to NYC, it would've been between six and ten hours. But yeah, you're right. And LOL, indeed. X]

:} Thanks mucho, lol. ZOMG, I love Connecticut. It's, like, one of my fave places ever. I used to live in Ellington. 231 Somers Road...we went back to see our house last year, when we vacationed in Maine - we stopped for a day in Connecticut to reminisce - and the house looked awful. Whoever lives there now doesn't take good care of it, at all. It was depressing to see that. And damn, I miss New England. It's just more my kind of place.
