I'm Afraid of Mr. Bald Guy

Aug 13, 2009 18:18

Hello people!

I should explain real quick that teh rents get up on their own, every day, no later than 8:00, and that's late. They're usually up at 6:00 or 7:00, sometimes even 5:00. I wake up on my own typically by 10:00, and Nick sleeps way into the afternoon. Anywho, I was woken up by dad screaming, "GET UP!" at 10:30. He left and screamed into ( Read more... )

:( I'm sorry you got yelled at, that's unfair. I mean, everyone's a little lazy sometimes, and you can't be up to everything all the time. *hugs*

Well, you are older than your brother, so he probably doesn't really think about it yet. It's different from person to person. But I'm sorry that you have to feel like this<3

Haha, I love the title of the post:)

Thanks. Totally! *hugs* <3

I guess. But I'm only 18 months older, I've been acting like this my whole life. He just cares about himself and himself alone. Thanks. :]

<3 You're welcome.

Aaaah, okay. I'm sorry. Maybe he has a hard time showing that he cares? I don't know. Siblings always have a surden "role" In the family, we have that in mine too.

;)<3

I'm so sorry you got yelled at today, sweetie. :( I know how that is - once in a while around here, the parents think that we're being lazy or something so we get yelled at. It's a bit ridiculous but, whatever.

Wow, that's kinda neat that the high school is so nearby!

Tsk...that really sucks for Nick to be asking for all these expensive things and getting it and yet you're trying to be financially conscious and when you ask for stuff it's a no. Sigh. Not cool. *HUGS*

Thanks. :( Guh, doesn't it suck? I hope that stops once I don't live here anymore, lol, but I'm sure it won't. *shakes head*

Totally! :D

Yeah. Thanks. :( *HUGS* <3

It sucks that your dad was so yell-y today. :( Maybe he's just stressed about other things (money) and is taking it out on you. Not right, but it happens; my mom does it too. *sympathy hug*

Nick should like being in walking distance form school! I know I do. You never have to worry about afterschool stuff causing you to miss rides, or not being able to go because you can't get a ride.

Booths are freakin' sweet!

I believe you are correct, my dear. Yeah. *huggles*

Yeah, it's pretty cool! He hates the bus, too, so he's glad he doesn't have to take it anymore. Oh yeah, I completely spaced on that part of it! :D AWESOME!

FUCK YEAH. XD

You and I are a lot alike, and surprisingly, so are our brothers.

My mom yells all the time, and my grandma was dreadful when she was alive.
My brother's universe revolves around what he wants and what he doesn't want... and since he simply won't do what he doesn't wanna do, no one expects ANYTHING from him.

Same thing for me, except the opposite.

I do everything I know I should do, and I do everything anyone else didn't do, because I know it needs to be done.

But when I don't do one thing, I get yelled at.

It's a bad habit, being responsible for other people's shit.
I do it at work all the time. I really shouldn't. I just think about the end-product and not really who's job is what.

I'm also very similar to you, in that I don't ask for anything.
My birthday is coming up, and all I really want is a new CD :P
My brother's birthdays were always filled with video games and consoles, even though we were broke. I was happy with a DVD or a CD or two.

Must be older sibling disease. :(

I'm the same way about clothes, and I especially was back when I was in school and living with my parents.

One year, my brother and I got $200 each for school clothes, and that was it for the year. Travis wanted to go to the outlet mall in Orlando, so we went there one Saturday and he got like three outfits. I got a necklace. Then, over the next few weekends, my mom and I hit the thrift stores and garage sales. I wound up with a whole new wardrobe, and money to set aside for club T-shirts. :)

Frugality FTMFW.
