Writer's Block: Untimely Passing

Dec 09, 2008 06:37

Hello people!

Soooo many this past year. I think Bernie Mac. I wasn't, like, a hardcore fan of his. But I really did love his show (The Bernie Mac Show, lol) and used to watch it ALL THE TIME when I was younger. And he was so fantastic in the Oceans movies. He was a hilarious man, a very smart man, and a great actor, and he is definitely missed. <3

Kurt Vonnegut hands down. I found out before zero period, in which we had a test that day. He fell down the stairs and damaged his brain. Talk about fucking random.

If not KV, probably JFK or RFK. Especially the footage of JFK's death, when Jackie tries to pick up the pieces of his brain which were blown to the back of the car as if that could ever help...

Yup. I probably would have been less depressed, actually, if he had died of COPD or some lung disorder. Hah.

I watch the Kennedy assassination every November, and every November, I decide that I like Jackie-O more. Even though she sort of sounds like Michael Jackson sometimes. She was such a strong woman to have put up with him and to have loved him. Just watching her turn around to rescue his body parts, it's so beautiful and depressing... :O

For me, it was Heath who got me really hard.
I cried for....so long after finding out about his passing.

I agree though. Michael Crichton's death also hit me hard.
