2000I began that year living in Salt Lake City with an aggressive female roommate who I felt completely uncomfortable around. Luckily I had made probably the strongest and best friendships that I couldn't even begin to believe were possible (friendships that have lasted to this day--stronger than anything). We ended up as a trio, making said- ( Read more... )

Aw, right back at ya!

I'm bummed that I couldn't find any pics of me from 2000-2002, since I looked very different back then. 2000 I had short spikey dyed black hair and was about 140lbs soaking wet (very very skinny). In 2001, I had a surfer boy look with blonde hair w/ black roots, and 2002 I started sporting my now standard short beard and started gaining my much appreciated weight :)

I love you to bits, Joseph! Happy New Year! Are you guys thinking about adoption, or some other route (assuming you're planning on a little Owens-Barham of the human variety)?

We're going to do Open Adoption and have a huge weekend intensive thing the last weekend of January! If all goes to plan either next Christmas or Easter 2011 we will be parents!

Interesting. You rock.

I didnt know that gay couples could adopt in the US. I mean we can adopt here in Europe, but thats because we can also get legally married... But then again I am more than confused with the fact that some states over there aloud gay marriage and the others wont... etc.

Good luck with the process. I heard its tough, but all worth it... I think its awesome...

It's a state by state thing. In Utah and Florida, you cannot adopt as "cohabitating same-sex households" which I find to be complete and utter bullshit.

But California, New York, Massachucetts, Washington State (i.e. Seattle), Oregon, and the other civilized and intellectual states allow it. :)
