My 11 year old self would have guessed that Alicia had "Cootie" hair and Reed was really grossed out. Today, I would never think such a thing.

Reed might be thinking, how did the Thing knock out a puppet animated by the Puppet Master's thought waves? It's not like a living being or a robot whose delicate parts might have been damaged. Oh well, if any fans write in about it, I'll have Stan give them a No-Prize.

Maybe Alicia has a headache because Johnny is yelling right in her ear.

Or she's adjusting her blonde wig. Or maybe she's just raising her arms to show off how stacked Kirby drew her.

Seriously, though, the creepiest thing about the story in FF#8 is that Alicia is supposed to be a virtual twin of Sue, so much alike in appearance that with no more disguise than a wig and a blue FF uniform, she can briefly fool her fiancée and kid brother into thinking she IS Sue. And John Byrne later had Johnny and Alicia start a very sexually active romance. (It was still later retconned out that it was an impostor, but still, he THOUGHT it was her. And she looked the same. The same as his SISTER).
