I actually laughed when I read the name on the tombstone because I thought of Mr and Mrs Levy of A Confederacy of Dunces. I loved it when Ignatius sends Myrna Minx a letter with the Levy company letterhead at the top and she sees it as an anti-Semetic jab at her father's business.

There are a few cemeteries near me that go back to the 1830s. I found myself rather shocked by how many of the tombstones were crumbling. I guess that a piece of symbolism right there considering death and what happens to your remains and others memory of you afterwards.
