I just woke up from a dream in which I was a ghoul snacking on a severed head. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, the zombie apocalypse had happened and the head started screaming at me. It was actually kind of comical, but it hath murdered sleep, at least for the moment

What a glorious little bird - that red! Nature's paintbox seems highly improbable on occasion. (Yesterday we saw a blue tropical frog at an aquarium (I think one of the poison arrow frogs), and I actually thought it was a glazed ceramic frog and was startled when it moved!).

I approve of what the protestors are trying to achieve.

However, "we need to take their money and give it to everyone else to be fair" is NOT going to work.

I'd be interested in hearing valid solutions.

Wow...that bird is beautiful! I never see anything like those around here. *pout* I did see a flock of at least 15 bluejays last winter, and against the snow, it was really striking1 (I had never realized bluejays "flocked". I'd only seen them singly previously...)
