We had potato bugs on our pepper plants last year. I sucked them up a with Dustbuster. Worked like a charm. Who knew?

So neem works? I'd heard it's good for Japanese beetles, which ravage our raspberries, beans, snow peas, etc. EVERY. DAMN. YEAR.

I've used neem for stinkbug infestation before and it seemed to work.

Good to know. I HATE, HATE, HATE those damn beetles, and we get them by the billions (it seems) every stinking year!
BTW, hope the cute little tiki cup arrived unscathed.

Yes, I love it! Could've sworn I e-mailed you, but my birthday and the days around it were kinda delirious, health-wise. So, thank you!

My husband (as a teen) used to have a unique method of anti-bug biowarfare: he would gather up all the caterpillars and whatnot, blend them, and spray it back on to the plants.

I don't know if he ever told his mom what he used the blender for--and I sure hope he washed it.

I've read about that! May try it sometime; the potential for sweet revenge is undeniable.
