28 days later borrowed very heavily from a rather awesome novel called Day of the Triffids- the only difference between the two is that the latter has killer, sentient genetically-engineered plants instead of zombies, but hey. I think you might enjoy it.

It's a zombie movie, but ... different. It's a cute movie in its own random way :D Haven't you always wanted a pet zombie? ^_^

28 Days Later is one of my favorite movies, I love Mailer the infected ^^....if you're into comic books I'd recommend the Walking Dead, similar premise as far as waking up alone and all the sudden "holy shit must survive" though with more psychology stuff going into how the human mind reacts when under extreme stress like that.

I also insist you see Fido as it's so adorable XD

"28 Days Later" and even is predictable equal "28 Weeks Later" filled me with zombie happiness. The fact that it was British zombie happiness was even better. Yay! ^)^
