Where am I...?

Matt glanced around nervously.  He'd never been here before, and wasn't sure of where exactly he was.  He sat up, brushing his auburn bangs from his face, and adjusted his orange-tinted goggles.

"Lesee," he muttered to himself, "I was out on my rounds, and then I suddenly passed out..."  He checked his wallet, to be sure he hadn't been

Mello was headed out of a room in that very hall, stumbling a bit and fixing his mussed hair. He had no idea where he just came from, as all the rooms made him dizzy and screwed him up. He blinked and glanced over, smelling the familiar scent of cigarette smoke. Well, well. Another Matt.

He knew that it wasn't the current Matts he knew, he could differentiate them that well. He saw that he was alone and glanced around, approaching him.

"Hey," he nodded, "I guess you're new here, huh?"

The blonde was currently wearing his black pajama bottoms and had his hair tied back.

"Good!" Matt said, smiling triumphantly, messing with Mello's hair again. "Still takin' care of your hair, I see~"

"Of course!" Mello pulled away and fixed his mussed locks, "Hair care is important."

He stuck his tongue out at him.

Matt raised an eyebrow. "Do you still use the same shampoo...?"

"If you're talking about Herbal Essences, then yes," Mello grumbled.

Matt attempted to stifle a laugh. "Some things never change..."

"Oh, shut up," Mello shoved him, blushing.

"I'm just teasin'~"

Matt prodded Mello's cheek playfully.

Mello puffed out his cheek and smacked his hand away.

"Don't be such a jerk," he laughed and then hugged him, "I missed you..."

Matt hugged him back, hoping to every angel in heaven that he wouldn't end up crying.

"Missed you too..."

Mello smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek, then turned and hopped away.

"I guess I should show you around~" he crooked a finger, smirking.

Flabbergasted at the unexpected... not-so-bro-like expression of affection from Mello, Matt had to shake himself back to reality before nodding and following him.

"Down this hall is one of the kitchens, though you may find them all around," Mello told him, hips swaying as he walked and pointed things out, "All of these rooms are alternate dimensions, basically, where your perception of reality will get fucked with. Don't go in doors with X's on them or you'll be sorry."

Matt nodded, half listening to what Mello was saying and have straing at his butt. He shook himself after a bit. This was his best friend!

"Kitchen sounds good right now..." he said, trying to distract himself with food. "I haven't eaten since this morning..."

"Well you can go in there," Mello nodded toward it, "My room is up a floor-- my door is the only red one, so you'll be able to find it if you need to."

He looked thoughtful, trying to think of other useful rooms.

"Bathrooms are in all of the bedrooms, so once you get yours you'll have your own."

"Yeeeah... Where is my room, exactly...?" Matt asked, raising an eyebrow. "Are there... door markers, or something?"
