The hallways were silent, the lights dimmed for a moment and all one could hear was the flapping of wings. There was a crow flying around the hallway cawing in annoyance and then slowly flew back towards a young blond in all black clothing. It sat on his shoulder and cawed silently again

Mello stared at her a moment as if trying to figure out who she was.She looked familiar to him but the name wasn't coming to him. The crow looked a little uncomfortable, it opened it's wings a moment as it tried to balance when Mello took a few steps towards the girl.
"Who are you?" he asked after a moment trying to sound slightly intimidating.

Misa Amane. [She gives him a small but friendly smile.]

"Misa..." Mello repeated and thought the name through, where was she from? Oh yeah she was the girl him and his fiance took care of. But this Misa's older not the normal 12 year old he's used to.
He reapears behind her and has a gun to her head "No your not.Misa is 12 your older then that I'm not an idiot."
He glares at her a moment and loads the gun "So who are you really?And care to explain where we are?"

Just great--another Mello. And it didn't seem like one from his own world and his own time either. Near stayed clear, noting that the blonde seemed quite pissed off, and he'd heard him mention a 'Matty'.

So much for that.

He prepared to leave the area, not wanting to get mixed up with the male.

Mello appeared behind Near and smirked slightly.
″It's been a while Near.″ he whispered in Near's ear. The crow flew off of the bond and stood on the floor waiting to see what the boy would do.

Near jolted, not quite used to that behavior. He quickly stepped forward and turned around, distancing himself from the blonde. His ears had turned a bright red in contrast with his pale skin and he could feel the blush creeping across his face.

"Hello, Mello," the white-haired boy replied, immediately twisting his fingers into his hair, "It has been."

He glanced at the crow.

He was glad that Near had managed to find them instead of the other way around Mello really didn't want to go hunting around all day to find him.
"Now if I remember right you have some explaining to do...as to why you thought it would be all right to kill Matt and I." Mello said with a frown. He had a feeling that this Near wasn't his own but still this was the first Near he had seen in years he wanted to punish the stupid white haired boy and soon.
