Matt stops, frozen, just a few feet away from Roger, his eyes wide, his cigarette barely clinging to his bottom lip as his jaw drops.
"Holy fuck!" he mumbles as memories of times spent in Wammy's House running away from Roger alongside Near and Mello stirred up once more. A tiny hint of dread fills him as he coughs - mostly leftover from his adolescence.
Matt visibly jolts at his old mentor's words; pinching a piece of his shirt between two fingers, he coughs violently as he looks down at it.
"B-but I love this shirt!" he exclaims, shooting Roger a slightly pathetic look. "How could I ever get rid of it?"

I'm Misa Amane. It's nice to meet you. You caught me off guard with the name is all. ::If he does have something to do with the house, perhaps he helps take care of it. Could he be that one man she heard of before? What was his name...Ralph? No, it ended with an "err" sound...Roger? That seems right, but it's been well over a year since she's heard it. Still, he could possibly know of her if he knew of L's notes about the Kira case. She waits for his response, hoping it isn't a bad one but expecting the worst.::
[Have a Mello, barefoot and dressed all in black, leaning against a convenient wall and putting on bravado to hide the fact that he remembers being called into Roger's office all too vividly. It's amazing how six years can evaporate at the sound of one voice.]
