If anyone can provide that information, it would be the people who run this place, and I would not recommend attempting to get it from them. Satisfying your curiosity is not worth the possible price.

I do not know. It seems as if that is the case, but I cannot be sure.

*A beat, during which he considers the question.*

Yes. He is here sometimes -- not always. The ghost of a B.

Is he, um. [Homicidal?] It's, like, safe to talk to him, yeah?

*He seems to be weighing the question, as he sips at the cider.*

Sometimes. It depends on his mood.

Gotcha. I'll try to track him down, thanks.

[He finishes off his beer, and thinks back to something L said earlier, which sounded like a possible last resort, if it were to get that bad.]

What do you know about the people who run this place?

*Something in his expression closes, and he glances to the side before answering.*

Not as much as would be ideal, except that they are best avoided. It would be better not to talk about them where they might overhear it; everywhere in this place comes under that description.

[Matt's had his memories rescrambled enough times by various rooms to be able to guess something of what they're capable of.]

*He acknowledges the thanks with a curt nod, and at that moment, sees Misa pulled into the room. His expression brightens, and he begins to move toward her, while murmuring to Matt,*
