[He watches it, apprehensive.] Then - what did you do before that? Where did you arrive, when you left here?

-- Uhm. Uhm, Beyond isn't sure? He woke up in a dumpster, he thinks, and he sort of... wandered around for a while.

Beyond thinks someone left him food, because Beyond lived in a park for a while, and there was always-- always... Beyond can't remember the name of it, but there was always a hamburger and some fries and a drink on the bench next to Beyond, when he woke up.

[He nods, solemn, acknowledging.] Maybe later, when you're feeling better, we could look for things you could do to survive on your own, if you end up going back again? Ways to keep you out of that hospital.

...yes. [He frowns, again, but his voice is still soft.] Whose blood is it?

[ Beyond nods. ]

Beyond knows, yes. Beyond thinks-- th-thinks the mansion being mean is much better than the doctors.

[ He's quiet for a minute, and then he pulls back his sleeve a little, showing Mikami a wound on his forearm that's been wrapped with what looks like badly ripped bedsheets. It's drenched red, and still a little damp. ]

Uhm... this one kind of hurts.

[He gasps, quietly, and looks dazed for a second, as if he's looking through Beyond at something else. But then he pulls himself together. This isn't the time for his own problems.]

Let's get you to a bathroom. We- we'll clean you up, and find some real bandages.
